Leslie Burke's obituary
City girl Leslie Burke aged 10 passed away tragically on Tuesday 16 March 1992.Leslie was new and unfamiliar to the country side. It changed her life.Leslie suddenly drowned in an over flowing river when she swung from a rope on the way into a forest going to explore the outdoors. People say that she went to explore a lot with a boy called Jesse Aaron's and her puppy PT (prince terrien).

You have done a good job of describing how Leslie died. Think about your audience - will they want to remember how she died or the type of person she was? Maybe you could include some of the things that made her character special.
